Congratulations to Luke Lawlor and all the kids who participated in the mini leagues during the week the turn out was exceptional even with the distraction of the Euros so fair play to all those who helped out over the three days.

Huge thanks to Brenda and her team of helpers and to the camogie girls team especially who to be honest did most of the packing in Dunnes Stores over the weekend. Last count I had on Friday night another huge sum of money had been collected and that was before the “BIG” Saturday rush. So thank you to everybody for helping out.

Unfortunately our Annual Sponsored had to be postponed on Friday due to inclement weather conditions. On Thursday night 30 volunteers made their way to the club to hear the plans for the upcoming strictly event and the buzz and excitement around the event was palpable. So be sure to save the date 12/11/2016 in the Red Cow as the work has already begun. Great win for the Junior footballers on Sunday morning beating St Maurs which followed on from their draw midweek away to O’Dwyers. Seniors play Kilmacud Crokes in AHL1 on Wednesday night.

Saturday the 12th of November in the Red Cow we will be staging a Strictly Crum Dancing show with preparations well under way this event promises to be a master class of dancing.
