A great week for all in the club as over 100 children took part in the Easter Camp.

To all members past and present our clubs golf fundraiser is on 31st May Powerscourt Golf club. Come and play around of golf and help us keep our club going, 340 euros a team, 100 euros to sponsor a hole and if your in the position to sponsor a team and a hole it will cost 400 euros for both.
It’s a very enjoyable day, burgers and beer on the 10th tee steak dinner on the 19th and back to the club house that evening for a few drinks and a chat about the putts you nearly got.Don’t leave it too late to book your tee time

Planning permission for a new hurling wall is now up in Pearse Park.
DATE FOR YOUR DIARY – our annual golf outing will take place this year on Friday 31st May in Powerscourt Golf Club. This is always a great day / evening and is also a great fundraiser for the club. Our U14 Hurlers won their first match of the season against Naomh Olaf and our adult footballers drew with Cuala GAA. Also, our U11 girls had their first football match of the season. Well done to all teams.
Because of the bad weather, the lotto draw did not take place on Sunday. It will instead take place on Monday 4th March.
Winners of the monthly draw for February were 1st Niall Thornton, 2nd Reg Lalor, 3rd John D Murphy, 4th Liz Hennebry and 5th Leona Devlin.
There were good wins this weekend for our U16 and minor camogie teams and also for our U15 football team. Well done to all.
Our U9 and U10 hurling teams finished their 6-week indoor hurling tournament in Gormanstown on Sunday. Both teams played well throughout the 6 weeks and enjoyed the experience of participating in the tournament.
Adult subs are now due and once again we will be asking all members social and playing to pay ASAP.

Two of our adult football teams had wins this weekend. Also, our Minor Hurlers got off to a winning start in their league. Congratulations to all teams.
Juvenile Camogie season gets underway this weekend and we wish our teams the best of luck with this.

Congratulations to our U10 boys who played in Croke Park on Saturday during half time at the Dublin game. It was a fantastic experience for both the boys and mentors.
Our U15 boys played their first match last weekend as a combined team Crumlin/Emmets. Also, our U13 boys have their first football match of the season this Saturday also as a combined team Crumlin/Emmets – they play away to St Brigid’s.

Following on from the Santa Dash that took place before Christmas, the amount of €1,000 raised at this event was this week donated to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.
