The clubs third annual Jim Boggan cycle is almost upon us and as usual we have had huge numbers out on their bikes at the weekend preparing themselves for the 100 mile cycle from Jim’s resting place of Taghmon to Lorcan O’Toole Park. The cycle itself takes place on Saturday the 23rd of July. We are asking all members not taking part on the day whether it’s to support us en route or joining us in the club that night to remember and celebrate Jims life. We will keep you updated as best we can on the day of the groups progress so you can be there when they arrive.

Our rescheduled sponsored walk will took place on Friday 8th July thanks to all those who took part. If you haven’t returned your sponsorship card please contact Will Smyth on 087 6203471.

Summer Camp 2016 are now up and running but it is not too late to sign up for week 2 which starts on the 18th -22nd of July .Time 10am – 2pm each day in O’Toole Park. For more information contact Luke on 0861229005.

Congratulations to Luke Lawlor and all the kids who participated in the mini leagues during the week the turn out was exceptional even with the distraction of the Euros so fair play to all those who helped out over the three days.

Huge thanks to Brenda and her team of helpers and to the camogie girls team especially who to be honest did most of the packing in Dunnes Stores over the weekend. Last count I had on Friday night another huge sum of money had been collected and that was before the “BIG” Saturday rush. So thank you to everybody for helping out.

Unfortunately our Annual Sponsored had to be postponed on Friday due to inclement weather conditions. Well done to all those who cycled and shook their buckets in the Ashleaf over the weekend as we launched our 3^rd annual Jim Boggan cycle to the Crumlin faithful.

On Thursday night 30 volunteers made their way to the club to hear the plans for the upcoming strictly event and the buzz and excitement around the event was palpable. So be sure to save the date 12/11/2016 in the Red Cow as the work has already begun.
