Probably the funniest event of the year starts this week on Tuesday 13th and it is the hugely enjoyable Crumlin GAA Fun Mini Leagues they will run the 13th, 14th & 15th in Pearse Park. Junior Hurlers had impressive wins in both the league and Championship last week. This week the Junior Footballers have a chance to represent Dublin in the Leinster Junior Football Championship, if the beat Man O War on Wednesday night at 7.30 in St Margaret’s they will qualify for the prestigious tournament. On Sunday they will take on Lucan Sarsfield at 11am in the 12th Lock.

On Friday our annual Golf Classic was held in Powerscourt Golf Club and always the day was well attended by both Sponsers, Players and Volunteers alike. The club would like to congratulate Ben Quinn on his championship debut for Dublin on Sunday against Galway unfortunately they came up a bit short on the day despite Bens goal on the stroke of half time.

Our U16 footballers came up a little short on Saturday against a very strong St Peters but did themselves & the club proud with their never give up attitude. Thank for all who came out to support them. This Wednesday in Pearse Park our U11 Hurlers play Setanta & U 12 Camogie play Round Towers so please do call in and see our future Seniors. Seniors had a good win away to St Vincent’s and this week Junior Footballers and Junior Hurlers will be in action, on Tuesday the Footballers are away to Vincents and on Thursday the hurlers are at home to St John’s Ballinteer.

This Saturday 20^th May 2017 our U16 Footballers will take on St Peters in St Peregines at 1.00pm please note the earlier time than previously mentioned.

This will hopefully be our first success at U16 since 1998 and 19 years is a long wait, so please get out and support the lads as it is not often we reach championship finals.

Our golf fundraiser is on the 2nd of June in Powerscourt golf club in Enniskerry, it’s a great way to get the long weekend of to a great start,

A game of golf with lunch on the 10the tee with a steak dinner to finish.  Then back to the club for a presentation to the lucky winners.  Music, maybe a bit of dancing and if still hungry finger food will be served.

Well there was a great 8 days for the senior hurlers who completed back to back championship wins and leaving them in the driving seat of their group. They overcame Faughs with a last minute goal to win by a point and that was followed by a remarkable performance that seen them beat a star-studded Ballyboden team by 6 points. If you couldn’t make the games, no problem, check out the photos. Unfortunately, the inter-county scene takes precedent for the next couple of months so we’ll all have to wait a few months for the much anticipated Cuala match.

Our U16 footballers beat Trinity Gaels on Saturday in Pearse Park to qualify for the championship final on 20th May time and venue TBC. U8’s won both the hurling games as they continue to impress with Jayden Fagen, Cian Thorpe and Cathal Rooney all getting on the scoreboard.
