Our nursery training returns this Saturday 4th September at 10am in Pearse Park.
Our coaches are all looking forward to seeing our little Crumlin Superstars again after the summer break. We hope they are excited to get back learning new lifelong skills and seeing their club mates again.
Itβs been a long summer without those weekly Saturday laughs & smiles. We are buzzing to get back!
Nursery training is for 4-7 year olds and is on a pay as you go basis and all equipment is provided. You can just drop up to Pearse Park on the day!
If you would like to get your child involved and have any queries please contact our Games Promotion Officer Jay Perry by phone/text on 0858383359 or email at jason.perry.gpo.dublin@gaa.ie

Pearse Park belonged to one man today and that was Crumlin legend Darren Hodgins.Β
Darren completed his unfathomable 147km fundraising run today in aid of Crumlin GAA Club.
Darren arrived back in Pearse Park in such good form and speed youβd be forgiven for thinking he only just ran from his house around the corner! An amusing story was shared that Darren challenged some of the U16 Camogie girl support runners to a sprint challenge in Tallaght and beat them all!
Darren has set an amazing example to all of us that whatever you set your mind to you can achieve and has also proven to be an amazing role model for all our juveniles to look up to.
Thank you Darren.
Darren expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped him achieve his goal.
All donations for Darrenβs run will go directly towards to the promotion of Gaelic games to children in the Crumlin community.
Any donation no matter how small makes a huge difference to Crumlin GAA, a local community driven GAA club.
The GoFundMe link will remain open in case you still wish to donate. Donate here.Β
We would also like to thank every single person that came to the park this morning to show their support for Darren and Crumlin. Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped setup the bunting, signs and refreshments station & Alan Davis for the additional photography.
We would also like to thank Garden Party Hire for providing us with the beautiful gazebo, bar tables and stools.
There will be tea, coffee & sweet treats available with buckets being shaken for cash donations towards Darrenβs fundraising target.
As if that wasnβt enough excitement our U13 Camogie girls are playing their Division 3 Final at home with a throw-in of 11am. If the girls win they will gain promotion to Division 2! A Crumlin Camogie team has not been in Division 2 for many years!
We really need as many supporters in Pearse Park tomorrow morning for Darren and the girls so grab your kids, your granny and a few neighbours and raise your voices for Crumlin!
The weather is set to be beautiful, it would be great to see you there.
Following safety advice there has been some changes made to Darrenβs fundraising run this weekend. There are some sections of the Wexford to Dublin road which are not safe for running.
Rather than admit defeat and call it off Darren has decided with his lionheart grit and Crumlin spirit to still run the same distance of 147km in a different way. With this late change of plan Darren truly is showing us his determination to fundraise and his passion for Crumlin GAA.
We would love for you to dig deep and support Darren & Crumlin GAA as much as you can via our GoFundMe page here.
Any donation no matter how small will go directly to Crumlin GAA to help continue our promotion of Gaelic games for all ages.
New Running Schedule:
Day 1 – Friday 23rd: Taghmon to Enniscorthy and then return to Taghmon, approx. 60km.
Day 2 – Saturday 24th: Crumlin to Bray area and then return to Crumlin, approx. 60km.
Darren would be appreciative of any runners who would like to join him for any distance they can manage on Saturday. Let us know via any social media channels and we will arrange a time and place for you to support him.
Day 3 – Sunday 25th: Blessington to Pearse Park, Crumlin.
Darren will finish his epic run in Pearse Park and we would appreciate as much support there to cheer him home, we will update you with his progress and ETA to the park via social media.
Best of luck Darren, all of Crumlin is behind you! π

We have some amazing news to share and get your Sunday morning off to a great start!
Abby Ryan, a long time juvenile player of Crumlin GAA has been selected to represent Dublin in Camogie at Minor level.
A fantastic achievement for Abby and one that makes Crumlin GAA so proud to have her among us. Abby plays both Camogie and Football for Crumlin showing us the dedication and perseverance it takes.
We wish Abby all the very best with the Dublin Minor team. Make sure to tell Abby we are all behind her when you see her up in Pearse Park! πππ
