The 2017 summer camp is up and running with over 160 participants (and 9 hard working coaches).  Mr Whippy turned up and there were lots of happy faces.

 

Junior footballers have 2 games this week on Tuesday they play Oliver Plunkets in Pearse Park at 7.30pm and St Brendans on Sunday at 11am. Senior hurlers had an impressive win on Saturday in Tymon Park.

Junior Hurlers have an important 2 games this week on Tuesday they conclude the round robin part of their Championship away to Craobh Chiarain at 7.30pm in Clonsaugh. On Sunday they will try keep their impressive league run going when they take on Realt Dearg in Driminagh Castle at 11am. On Saturday the senior hurlers will look to get there league back up and running when they take on St Judes in Tymon at 2.30pm. On Wednesday our ladies footballers take on Naomh Olaf in pearse park at 7.30pm.

Junior Hurlers had 2 good wins during the week that keeps on course for a Quarter final spot in championship and a top 4 place in the league. This week the Junior footballers are in action Tuesday at home to Whitehall at 7.30pm and away to Fingal on Sunday morning.

Our U8 footballers played St Anne’s on Saturday with two amazing wins, Harry Joyce scored an amazing long range free and Cian Fitzgerald was outstanding in defence

Probably the funniest event of the year starts this week on Tuesday 13th and it is the hugely enjoyable Crumlin GAA Fun Mini Leagues they will run the 13th, 14th & 15th in Pearse Park. There is no cost to this great event. The details are boys & girls born in 07/08/09 be there for 6pm and boys & girls born in 06/05/04 be there for 7.15pm. Junior Hurlers had impressive wins in both the league and Championship last week. This week the Junior Footballers have a chance to represent Dublin in the Leinster Junior Football Championship, if the beat Man O War on Wednesday night at 7.30 in St Margaret’s they will qualify for the prestigious tournament. On Sunday they will take on Lucan Sarsfield at 11am in the 12th Lock.

On Friday our annual Golf Classic was held in Powerscourt Golf Club and always the day was well attended by both Sponsers, Players and Volunteers alike. The management of the club would like to pay special thanks to Paddy Kavanagh, Matt Dunne, Will Smith and Gerry Clancy. Also our main sponser on the day Massey Bros.

The club would like to congratulate Ben Quinn on his championship debut for Dublin on Sunday against Galway unfortunately they came up a bit short on the day despite Bens goal on the stroke of half time.

Junior Footballers and Hurlers both had impressive wins during the week and U8 footballers had another great win against Kilmacud Crokes with Sean Gavigan, Thomas McAuley and Byron O’Hara all outstanding on the day.

This Friday our annual Golf Classic will be held in Powerscourt Golf Club and always this day is followed by a very entertaining night in the club starting at 9.30pm so do your best to get down and join in the fun times.

Our U16 footballers came up a little short on Saturday against a very strong St Peters but did themselves & the club proud with their never give up attitude. Thank for all who came out to support them. This Wednesday in Pearse Park our U11 Hurlers play Setanta & U 12 Camogie play Round Towers so please do call in and see our future Seniors. Seniors had a good win away to St Vincent’s and this week Junior Footballers and Junior Hurlers will be in action, on Tuesday the Footballers are away to Vincents and on Thursday the hurlers are at home to St John’s Ballinteer.
