A massive congratulations to the crumlin ladies who won the cup last night with a huge 4 11 to 8 points win over castleknock.CRUMLIN GAA are proud of you

And the perfect way to celebrate winning the cup on a Wednesday evening….. Pizza in the Club. Congrats again to Crumlin’s most successful team.

Ladies footballers play in their cup final on Wednesday night in Somerton at 8.30pm all support welcome on the night.

Strictly Crum Dancing launched on Saturday night in the Club rooms and the night was well received. The dancers found out who their partners were going to be, what dance they had to perform and which video clip they will need to do on the night.

Club Shop has now reopened and will be open every Thursday from 8-9pm.

Club Lotto was not won numbers drawn were 3,5,23 and 28. There were no match 3 winners and next weeks winning jackpot will be €13,650.

Senior Hurlers lost out to O’Tooles on Sunday evening in O’Toole Park bringing to an end a decent enough season.

Senior Hurlers lost out to O’Tooles on Sunday evening in O’Toole Park bringing to an end a decent enough season. Our ladies footballers won the Semi Final on Sunday which set them up for a final in the coming days.

Strictly Crum Dancing continued on Sunday night and with the group dance now all but nailed the couples will turn their attention to their individual dances. The Launch night will be held on the 8th of October in the Club rooms at 8pm, it will be here that both the public and the dancers will learn who they’ll be dancing with so it’s an event not to be missed.

Club Shop has now reopened and will be open every Thursday from 8-9pm.

Club Lotto was not won numbers drawn were 1,17,22 and 24. There 5 match 3 winners and next weeks winning jackpot will be €13,500. Quarterly draw winner was Joe Cox

Winners of the monthly draw for September were €1,000 Eileen Orr €200 Maurice Kerrigan €100 Michael Cullen €50 Neil Brophy. Anyone looking to join please contact James Comerford.

Senior Hurlers having convincingly beaten St Pats in their final round robin game will now take on O’Tooles in the Quarter Finals this Sunday at 2.15pm in O’Toole park. Hope to see as many of the club out supporting the lads on our home turf. Camogie girls were beaten in their Championship semi final on Sunday by 3 points but after a slow start to the year the girls showed their usual championship form. Ladies footballers take on St Pats of Donabate in the Cup Semi Final in Donabate on Sunday at 3pm. Finally hard luck to our U15 footballers who were narrowly beaten to the league by St Pereginnes on Sunday morning in a grueling battle.

Our Strictly Crum Dancing got off to a twinkling start on Sunday in Scoil Colm when we held the first auditions and with 27 (14 men and 13 women) strutting their stuff in promises to be an excellent night. The Launch night which will see the dancers paired up will be held on the 8th of October in the Club.

U12 Camogie Team Play in Croke Park

This Sunday the Crumlin U12 Camogie team will take the field in Croke Park during the All Ireland Junior Final at approx 12.30.

This will be a huge day for the club, kids, parents and family so please show your support.

The management of the club would like to pay their respects to Rita Courtney mother of Joanne and John Courtney she will be sadly missed by her husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

There will be a Thrift Shop night in the club on Saturday the 17th of September, idea is you purchase your outfit in a local thrift shop supporting a good cause and then come to the club that night with the receipt to be entered in a draw for some cool prizes. We’ll also be running a separate draw on the night for 2 All Ireland tickets. So make sure to support this great event.

All applications for All Ireland tickets must be made before the 08th and only fully paid members will be entitled to receive a ticket.

As we are now a few weeks since the Jim Boggan Cycle 2016 completed the organising committee are asking all participants to get their sponsorship card and money back in so we can start to celebrate the success of the event. We will have a collection night in the clubhouse on Wednesday from 9-10pm.

Congratulations to our senior hurlers on securing the AHL1 spot for 2017 with an impressive victory over Lucan. Also our Camogie team got their championship off to a great start with victory over Na Fianna and they will now play the second of their 3 group games on Thursday night away to Naomh Finbars at 7pm. Ladies footballers play their league Final away to St Pats of Donabate on Wednesday night throw in time 7.15pm. Our U11 girls football team resumed their 2016 season with a fine win over Round Towers on Sunday morning. The pick of the players on the day were Ella Sinclair, Kaci Hodgins and Jolene Dignam.

A reminder that the club shop has now closed for the summer months and will reopen again in September.
