Married vs. Singles Gaelic Football Match

Monday, 26th December 2022 at 11am sharp in Lorcan O’Toole Park.

The Married (Captain Darren Wheelan) vs. Singles (Captain Phillip Lally) game is always great fun and a great way to burn off some Christmas Day calories and maybe gain a few more after the match!

The singles are the current holders of the Billy Maloney Cup winning a tight game in 2021. Ham Sandwiches and fun will be available after in the clubhouse until 6pm. 

The game is open to all male & female players/Ex-players/Parents/Coaches..basically everybody who fancies a game, everybody is welcome so we’d love to see you there!

This year we were supporting Pieta House and are delighted to report we raised €600 for this extremely worthwhile cause, Thank you to all donated. Legends!

We have a festive packed Saturday coming your way!

On Saturday 17th December we are hosting our Annual Santa Dash charity fundraiser in Pearse Park at 10am. Get into the festive spirit by wearing your Santa hats and Christmas jumpers. Wind up the season with some tea, coffee & chats afterwards!

Later that night ‘The Shift’ are treating us to another spectacular night’s entertainment starting at 9:30pm in the clubhouse bar. There is no cover charge and club member Grainne Cullen is the lead singer so we’d love to see as many of you there as possible!

Also that night as we take a break from the music we will find out who wins the amazing first prize of €2,000 in our Christmas Draw. The draw will take place at 10:30pm in the clubhouse. Tickets are priced at €20 and limited to 500 tickets. Get yours from the clubhouse bar (01-4551897) now before they’re all gone!

All of us in Crumlin GAA would like to congratulate Paul O’Brien on winning the Coach of the Year 2020/2021 Award at the recent Friends of Dublin Hurling Awards Night which was held in the Bonnington Hotel celebrating the 14th FODH Awards.

Well done and congratulations Paul, it’s fantastic to see your tireless work and dedication recognised with such an esteemed award. We are also thankful for all the hard work you do for Crumlin GAA.

Our U11’s boys were treated to a training session by no other than Dublin Hurling Captain Daniel Sutcliffe last night. The coaches said you could hear a pin drop during the session with all the boys being so focused!

Huge thanks to Magee Conservation for sponsoring the new jerseys for our new U7 boys team. The boys were presented their new jerseys this morning in Pearse Park. The boys will look sharp and stylish for the new 2023 season ahead!

They’re a great bunch of lads and deserved to feel like stars today before they played a mixed match today. Many thanks to coach Ger Thornton for organising and looking after the team.
