Jim Boggan Memorial Cycle 2022 – Saturday 9th July 2022 The Jim Boggan cycle is an annual club fundraising cycle in memory of club legend Jim Boggan.
Jim was Crumlin’s most successful coach and was also a Dublin Inter-county Hurling coach! This will be the 7th running of the event and we are so excited as the cycle was postponed twice due to covid in 2020 & 2021.
The cycle starts from Jim’s resting place in Taghmon, Co. Wexford and finishes at Crumlin GAA Clubhouse. That’s 147km but don’t worry! The cycle is not a race and every fitness level is catered for with plenty of stops for food, beverages and massages in GAA Clubs along the way. This is the club’s biggest fundraiser so we really want you to be part of it. Everybody is welcome.
Entry Fee: €100 plus sponsorship of €70. Cash collection in Crumlin GAA Clubhouse on Wednesday 11th May at 8.30pm. €100 payment upfront – place not guaranteed until payment has been received.
Completion of registration form on the night is necessary to take part.
We are heading to the U15 Division 7 Camogie Féile Final!
The Crumlin girls shone bright today in their Camogie Féile Group matches and Semi-Final. They had 4 successive victories against St. Marks, St. Anne’s, Scoil Ui Chonaill & Clontarf and are now through to the final!
They play St. Anne’s once more in the final out in Trinity College Sports Grounds on Santry Avenue at 10am.
It’s a massive achievement for our club and your support from the sidelines would be really appreciated by all the girls and coaches. You can make a huge difference cheering from the sidelines.
We would like to thank Thomas Davis GAA Club for hosting all of today’s games.
The final is a ticketed event and Adult tickets are €5, U16’s are free but still require a ticket.
Our U15 Camogie team have their Féile this weekend hosted by Thomas Davis GAA Club. It’s a big day out for them so we would love to see as many people as possible out to support them. Sure, it’s only up the road!
We wish them all the very best and most importantly hope that they enjoy themselves during the festival of Camogie. Go girls!
They play tomorrow, Sat 30th April and all Crumlin’s matches are on the Aylesbury Park pitch and directions can be found here: https://goo.gl/maps/TW1hSztVeyu7DHwy8
