What an incredible event Strictly Crum Dancing was! A link for photos from the night is below.
We received so much positive feedback on such a well run event. All this was due to the unending work and commitment to it by the event committee. Namely, Denis Eustace, Paul McGovern, Sarah McGovern, Carol O’Sullivan, Daniel Fagan, Sinead Fagan & Danielle Sweeney. All these people helped plan the event, bring in sponsorship, liaise with the event company & hotel, plan training sessions and also ensured the dancers had tea, coffee & refreshments at all training sessions.
In addition to those named above we had help and support on the night from Kevin Coyle, Jennifer Coyle & Ger Gavigan who looked after the raffle & voting.
Thank you to all who attended and supported the club and the dancers in this vital fundraiser.
Thank you to all our sponsors who we will also thank in a seperate post.
Photos from the night are now on the club website at https://crumlingaa.com/strictly24/ Feel free to share them on your own social media pages.
There’s over 400 of them so you may want to put the kettle on! 😂
There will be a new team for boys & girls born in 2015 & 2016 starting next Tuesday 5th March at 5:30pm in Pearse Park 🔵⚪️
Bring your child along for a training session where they will meet new friends and learn lifelong skills. Friendly coaches and everyone plays. Fun guaranteed!

Congratulations and thank you to all the dancers who took part in Strictly Crum Dancing last night. Your hard work & effort in rehearsals really showed as you entertained and wowed us. You all stepped, skipped and hopped out of your comfort zone and contributed immensely towards Crumlin GAA Club and your community. The atmosphere in the ballroom was electric and all in attendance had smiles and happiness on their faces. Without you it just could not happen.
Huge congratulations to the winners, Sarah McGovern and Keith Doyle, who danced the Charleston. They lift the roof off with their performance. Extremely worthy winners!
There will be more photos from the night edited as soon as possible and we will let you know via socials when they have been published on our website.
Huge congratulations to Brenda on achieving her goal of running 100km in February in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation.
Brenda ticked off the last 2km yesterday evening in Pearse Park with her U16 Camogie team. A special moment for her we’re sure! Phil Gough was on hand to present Brenda with some flowers to mark her amazing achievement. A few words from Brenda herself below:
“Wow I did it ❤️😍, A BIG thank you to the Crumlin Camogie u16s girls for your support and companionship and for giving up your Saturday morning lie ons and running 🏃♀️ around Pearse Park with me. Especially today when you all ran the last 2km. This time last year I wouldn’t have been able to achieve anything like this and now 100km in the bag. Thank you so very much to all the people who donated to the Irish Heart Foundation. Total raised so far €600 ❤️🏃♀️❤️”
Music by ‘White Chocolate’ in the clubhouse bar from 10pm until late this Saturday!
Come down to the clubhouse bar and congratulate our Strictly Dancers as they finally get to relax after a long rehearsal schedule!
There will be a raffle on the night too with some great prizes on offer. Come down early to get yourself a seat as White Chocolate are always a popular booking!
